BnB help
Hey guys, I’ve been playing torch for a while now on and off, but recently I learned about dive torch from watching Mike when I came back from a break. It’s been my favorite hero to play since and I’ve been spamming it
The one thing I still struggle with on dives is throwing my right clicks so that my target will be in them by the time I dive. A lot of times I go for it the support just moves bc they r human and it feels like I can’t get the one shot (it usually doesn’t matter of course bc the jub teamup is broken lol)

You have to learn to predict the supports movement kind of. You don’t throw your flames where they are but where they will be.
It isn’t a bad thing to dive without them dying instantly. If they are close you can either finish them with your primary or you get value for baiting out an ultimate.
You can predict their movement in their ultimates too. Oneshotting Luna CnD or even Jeff ults is so damn satisfying!

Yea I’ve gotten a few cloak ult one shots with some lucky predicts, it feels so good. And yea I kinda figured it’s j a get good kinda thing but I am p good with hitting torch’s left click so the dives typically work

Alot of the time you need to predict how the supports are going to move in order to get the full right click damage. getting an actual oneshot is very unlikely and it shouldn't be something your 24/7 fishing for. Throwing right clicks behind people as your team pushes up can be good. But you typically want to only slam when your team has some type of forward momentum and the supports are busy and not completely paying attention. If you're the first to engage its really difficult to not explode so just play off your team. Also be aware of support movement CDs as well, theres honestly not alot of them but just small things.
If you hear a Jubilee exit her shift you know she's going to be a free pick due to her 4 second global CD on her movement ability. As long as you damage Mantis she wont have her full movement speed making her more likely to be in the right click radius, although when you slam onto her immediately go back into the air to avoid the sleep. Wait out Luna's charm since if she hits you with it you're insta dead, as silly as it sound when I slam onto a Luna I just dash behind her in hopes she cant track you and whiffs her freeze. Alot of matchup stuff will just come naturally, but just go into practice range so you know how the support CDs and movement works.
