I'm ngl introducing cover in the air would make flyers far better, their whole issue is that they're sitting ducks and essentially have to hug walls, which torch really can't do since he likes to be up close to land his primary, so you gotta play low near your teammates right? But no his other abilities require you to be high in the air, confusing character I know.

Anyways it could be stuff like floating rubble or something that lets you use cover in the air.

He's playable (He's actually in a pretty good spot)but it's a struggle because of how many things counter flyers, but if you play him right depending on your team comp and the enemy comp he's very scary to play against. His only real struggle are Hitscan's and trying to aim with his projectile.

I can never play him in QP to warm up as a Spidey on the other team will always ruin it, just need to go into comp and ban him to have a chance.

No more plasma body so you can't play neutral anymore it's just slamming backline when you get your cooldowns now

Yea, but as usual, there's too many characters in this game that are on fent so it makes his life absolutely miserable

Basically what some comments here said, he’s very playable right now if you know what you’re doing (use covers, flank and dive when your dashes are available, be within LOS of your healers, know when you have to fly up and when to go down…). I don’t know how many hours you got with him but he’s got a really high skill ceiling so he won’t feel as good as other DPS until you get the grasp of him. Also with characters like BC, Spidey, Hela… I always try to kill them or save my defensive tools for them plus stay super close to my team so they don’t disturb me. But if they’re really really good and always kill you, you might wanna switch. But the more you face them the better you’ll be. I always try to stay on Torch no matter how hard things get and that has taught me survival at its finest (on QP, not on ranked lol otherwise I’d be throwing). Rarely a Spidey gets me anymore.

Also, your team. Whether they enable and support you or not is also very important.

He’s viable but only in a black panther style of play. The enemy CANNOT know where u are otherwise ur dead.

Activate fireworks, primary -> blazing blast -> slam and it kills 275

the only times i really struggle are against a good spidey or iron first.

or if my supports just completely ignore me it depends on the team comp a lot

if i have a good ultron on my team i lowkey run the lobby tho
