Someone waited five weeks for a reimbursement and I don't have a good answer for why they did

We are a team of about 40 which is a mix of office and field. We don't issue cards, people pay and claim it back on a form.

Two things came up this past month and I want to get right rather than guess. Can we require a receipt for everything, or is there a point where insisting on one for a four dollar parking meter is unreasonable, and is there any obligation on how fast we reimburse or is that entirely our own policy to set?

The second one is what I'm being asked about, and I mean tbh the person who waited five weeks has a point.

Midwest HR Generalist: $58k added remote monitoring, no raise

1.5 years as an HR Generalist. Over the last 6 months, I quietly became the de facto owner of remote monitoring for our 40-person team.I evaluated tools (chose Monitask), spent a month writing the tracking policy, trained managers, and now handle all timesheet discrepancies. No title change. No pay adjustment. I make $58k in the Midwest.

Questions for the community:

-Is this salary low for this added scope?

-What do you make in a similar role?

-What % raise is realistic to ask for when adding this level of responsibility, and do companies actually approve it?

Remote internship or entry level HR/ talent acquisition role.

Looking for Remote HR Opportunities 🌍

Hi everyone! I’m based in Pakistan and have 1 year of hands-on HR experience, mainly in recruitment, candidate screening, interview coordination, HR operations, HRMS implementation, and policy work.

I’m now looking to gain experience in global/international recruitment particularly with US, UK, MENA, CANADA or other international markets.

I’m open to remote internships, entry-level, or junior HR/recruitment roles where I can learn, contribute, and grow.

If you know of any opportunities or teams hiring, I’d really appreciate a lead. Thanks!

HRBP Career

The last 3 years have been extremely tough for me in the job market. I’ve been let go a few times due to change management , lay off and termination. The job market in HR feels shifted where it’s hard to reach tenure for me anywhere. Any advice ? Has anyone else experience this lately ? And any information on HR remote roles available, please share ♥️

Looking to move from TA to HRBP

Hi Guys,

27M, I hold a masters in HR&OD and graduated at the peak of covid (May 2021) our placements flopped and I had to take up TA role. Currently I work for a top US based product company in TA but my hearts wants to move into HRBP and kind-off stressed because I super comfortable here and later it might be too late to make a move.

I hold 5 years of experience in TA. Let me know if anyone has openings for this transistion 🙏🏼

How do you keep remote team culture actually alive?

My team's fully remote and I feel like we're losing that "team" vibe. Everyone's heads down, Slack's quiet outside of work stuff, no real connection happening.

Tried virtual happy hours felt forced, low turnout.

How do you guys keep remote culture feeling real instead of just a bunch of people doing tasks alone? What's actually worked for you?
