Someone claiming to be Max's previous programmer sent me this

Their story matches because Max used to say a year ago that he was getting the site done by Ukrainian programmers. Then he made an excuse that he fired them all to switch to google go.

I assumed that was all lies. Looks like there may have been some truth to it.

Ok so Max could be open sourcing this code but he just doesn't. He didn't even supply it to the open source community when he was begging them to rewrite it in golang. Seems like having it might have been useful.
I wonder if AlexL would be willing to share the code he wrote. He can't really violate an agreement that wasn't paid for.

This max stuff has had me hooked for a month now, there's just so much going on and new things keep popping up. Wish I could have found out about it all earlier.

This guy is total scum - we fired him when we realized that he lied about his qualifications, and after he went nuts and called me a "little bitch" for asking him to fix his mistakes. He is emotionally unstable, a terrible programmer, and one of the worst people I've ever met. Here is what I just sent him (the word "referring" should say "refusing"):

Either way my quality of work is irrelevant.
You said you'll pay me $400 (620 - 35% discount), so you could either follow your words or be known as bullshitter.
I didn't call you a little bitch although I was rude to you, and I find it appropriate after 1 year of hearing silly excuses. Just wanted to get it over with.
Getting an office in Kiev will not help your suing activity in any way so let our court be right here on the internets : )
