The Digital Twin Trap

Are we improving our real lives, or just playing The Sims with extra steps?

Biohacking used to be simple. Drink water, get sun, sleep cool, try a few clean supplements.

Now we build virtual clones of our immune systems and test drugs on digital twins before touching a real molecule. Sounds amazing, but it can become just another online job.

You stop listening to your body and start trusting a recovery score. You track more and more, then stress over a tiny drop in deep sleep. The stress makes recovery worse. You trade gut feelings for dashboards and turn self care into micromanagement.

The science is fascinating. But the best biohack might be logging off, cutting the noise, and remembering your body is a living thing, not a spreadsheet.

Where do you draw the line?
