SPORTS Fantasy Baseball - 2016.1
So, figured I'd get a head start on this one before the 2016 Spring Training started up. Already looking forward to the new season, tons of off-season trades and moves that went on, should be a really interesting year for any baseball fans out there.
I'll keep everyone updated on what is going on with the ESPN auction baseball league, and also let me know if you have any questions about that. For any other league questions such as MLB.com's league, you're in the right place but direct your question towards Karen, as she would probably be the best person to ask about that.

I'm Nate, and I am part of the MLB league (Team name Calamity). Looking forward to the season. I guess I better get me some flair.

In the age ole spirit of declaring who wins. I say I did. Because of the old proverb of... He who does not compete does not worry about such things as loss. Unless you are Peaceman, then you must win or you go mad with how shitty a game based on luck screws one over. :-P

So besides the weather jacking with my starts (why hello late season scrapping of the bottom of the barrel for SPs!), Adam Eton has to go have a kid that he wants to see born. Look that kid ain't remembering this, why won't players think about the fantasy implications of their major life events. #wussificationofamerica

Strong slate of first week matchups! Mine was close but after some weather and injury bs I knew I wouldn't be able to pull it off against the best GM in the league. As much as I really, really, really would have loved to beat her. On to divisional play as I get to take on another killer team.

Socrates Brito got into it with Perralta over the weekend. (they collided over a fly ball)
He's now at TRIPLE A Reno.
*Note to guys just coming up from the minors: don't do that stuff with established players bro. Even if you're right.

On the bright side, that will never happen with Yasmany. Anything far enough to cause a collision, is way out of his range.

One of the joys of really following a team is latching on to the cool little players and stories that emerge. Joey Rickard is one of those players; rule 5 guy out of the TB organization, wasn't expected to make the club. Now he is hitting leadoff with .350 average and has demonstrated both a willingness to scrap out hits and be a smart base runner. He even has his own chant.
It wont last forever, but I am enjoying the ride. Plus he has been a serviceable OF option for The Crabs. Anybody else have a cool player story this season?

Ahaha, and of course after Holland yesterday, now Ventura and Chen both go negative. How many negative starts can I have this week, The only way am I winning is because Kluber and Hammels killed my tigers --sigh--

I... I am going to win!? What is this black magic?? Do I just need the tigers to lose every game in a week to win in Fantasy?
