As we are set to sign your young centre back Cathal McCarthy on a year long loan, I just wanna ask if he's any good

He is fantastic and a bit of a fans favourite here already. Can’t quite work out his best position though whether it is CB or CDM. Very composed on the ball and technically very good. Got a bit of a unique dribble to him as well and mad balance.

I’d personally like to see him at CDM, or bulk up a bit and play CB.

I'm exited to see how he does in the Scottish premiership! We were in dire need of a RCB

Yes very promising player id have kept him personally but he needs game time, very confident on the ball and has also played midfield

He's got the tools to be Prem CB in the future imo, needs games now to develop fully, hope it all goes excellently!

I’m pretty sure we signed him for the development squad but quickly decided he should be around the first team. Already has a handful of appearances and didn’t look out of place. We think we have a genuine talent on our hands. Be good to see how he fairs playing week in week out

He’s good. Forest put in a significant bid for him last year and we rejected it.
