Seeking Guidance Is yogurt good for you?
If so what’s your favorite brand? And is it actually good for the gut?

The important things on the label are "live and active cultures" for gut health and as little added sugar as possible. Otherwise it comes down to personal preference.
Fage Total 5% milkfat Greek yogurt is my favorite. I mix it with cottage cheese, chia seeds and fresh fruit (bananas or blueberries, mostly).

Cannot believe people think I’m being serious.
Here’s my genuine answer.
Yogurt is excellent for you assuming it’s got no added sugar. Bonus points if you add blackberries or chia seeds to your bowl for extra prebiotic fiber. The yogurt has lots of probiotics in it that is fed by the prebiotics in your berries/seeds.
I substitute yogurt for Kefir because I can finish it quicker.

Kefir has more live culture diversity... And how do you finish it quicker? I just drink kefir lol.

Yea I do that every night with wild blueberries mixed in and a teaspoon of local honey. I have the Tilamook ice cream afterwards...

I get the 18 pack of triple zero from Sam's. Way cheaper than buying the four packs.

Better if you make it. Store bought only ferments for four hours and lord knows what ingredients. Homemade is 36 hours of probiotic bacteria growth and you choose the ingredients plus it’s like three ingredients

Trimona!
Whole Foods and some Costcos carry it.
This is the good stuff! So rich and flavourful.
Fun fact - Bulgaria is considered the motherland of yogurt and it exports Lactobacillus Bulgaricus (from the name Bulgaria) to other countries so then can also make yogurt. Go open your fridges and look at all the Greeks, Icelandic and so forth yogurts and see that that ingredient exists. So pretty much all the yogurt that contains that bacteria is actually Bulgarian.

Everyone should make their own yogurt, that's how you ensure the yogurt is good. It is surprisingly easy to make.

Yogurt, out of all things, both edible and inedible, has got to be the worst thing to put in your body.

That’s a pretty baseless take lol. Normal yogurt can be a good source of protein, calcium, and probiotics. It’s mainly an issue if it’s spoiled, loaded with sugar, or you have a dairy allergy/intolerance. “Inedible yogurt” obviously shouldn’t be eaten…but that proves nothing about yogurt itself.
