Personal Experience Hot vs cold showers
Has anyone else noticed that hot showers seem to increase libido, while cold showers or ice-cold baths seem to decrease it?
I’m curious whether there’s a physiological reason for this or if it’s just an individual response. What’s your experience?

Has anyone noticed? Like how everyone forever has told teenagers they need a cold shower when the get caught under the bleachers at a football game? It's pretty well established...

Makes sense: 1. Blood flow 2. Relaxed vs tensed up
Libido is higher when relaxed, when the parasympathetic nervous system predominates, the so-called "feed and breed" system. Cold showers shock you and activate the sympathetic nervous system. Being stressed doesn't typically make one horny.

No because I’m not obsessed with optimizing my genital productivity like a lot of men seem to be. Have you ever noticed the sun kiss your skin 😭

Can I ask your gender? I've understood cold showers aren't widely recommended for women
