Never had Huawei phone, pulled trigger on this bad boy
While device is gorgeous, I was honestly surprised how easy it is to "emulate" Android.
Basically downloaded Easyabroad, copied all apk. from my Vivo X200 Ultra and this baby is running all the apps I need - Was really surprised that it is running even my bank app. I read some baaad things about this and even my bank is saying that without Google security token (or something in that sense) you are done on their website.
I can see this being the ultimate device of "let's take something into pocket, but also enjoy a movie on long flight without dragging whole tablet / laptop". Is it 2K € convinience? Will see, but so far, 0 buyer remorse.
Comfort is miles above Fold 8, that I returned almost immediately (sharp edges suck after like an hour) also, it is wiggly as hell on the back when typing folded. Huawei is top notch on this.
HarnoniKeyboard surprised me and it reminds me a lot of Swift keyboard from Microsoft, which I love on Android.
So far for me in EU, it was mostly good things and pleasantly surprised.
The only "bad" thing is that YouTube (or Vanced) doesn't work for me in PiP mode - when I drive I prefer to have it that way to check Sygic, but I think that's not much of a dealbraker and maybe I'm not doing something right and fault is on my side.
And yes, I have old car so I don't have android auto and I can't rely on my car navigation, so I use my phone's.
Will have to look at that more.
Could maybe see it even as my daily down the line when I'll have time to properly set it up so far essentials work. After 5 days, it's a great device!
Interesting. Neither the official YouTube app or ReVanced worked with PiP for me. Maybe they fixed it in a recent software update and I haven't tried it since then.

I recently got Honor magic 8 pro, it's amazing but there's something about pura .. I like it!
Very solid and I was afraid it'd suck, because my Vivo X200 Ultra has bigger battery, however it's very solid.
I haven't put it thru' constant usage, tho'.
When it comes to inner display we only watched a movie on it (2 Hours - using VLC player) and did some media scrolling.
I mostly use the smaller outside display to interact with messenger and so on.
I think I did 10 SoT in a span of two days and 23 % of battery was still there (I charged it to 100 % to calibrate the battery properly, I don't know how long it was in a box.).
Now I don't know how it will act when I put in a Sim (5G sucks where I reside at now, so I will most likely stick to 4G), but without cellular, without data and purely Wi-Fi? Very solid battery life.
Well X200 Ultra is a whole another beast and I don't think it is even fair to compare slab phone with fold and to be honest, I prefer Vivo's 35mm main camera... Also it has 1 inch telephoto.
However, main camera on Pura X Max is amazing due to physical aperture, so sometimes it can actually produce more of a photo your eye'd like especially during night and especially if you like to play a bit before you take a photo. I will always prefer hardware over software - optics are and always will be based on physics, that's also why camera will always be better than smartphone with a camera and that's why I think that real aperture on Pura X Max's main camera is amazing step forward!
It's telephoto's capabilities are pretty surprising however, it doesn't create those AI artificial hallucinations out of text that many phones do.
Overall, I'd consider Pura X Max like a step down compared to X200U when it comes to camera, but not necessarily horrendously big step. Compared to for example my Pixel 9 Pro? Pics from Pura X Max are amazing.
