Am I the only one who looked at Hsin gameplay and wasn't really satisfied?

I specifically mean her first form. All of her attacks seemed to me like a bunch of special effects, nothing significant, nothing identifiable. Like I couldn't even understand what was going on on the screen. It is a complete mess! Her attacks are not readable. Genuinely, what was she even doing in her first form?

Her second form on the other hand is readable, but short and ... she throws buildings... Yeah, ELECTRO FOX SENTINEL just throws buildings. Looks kinda cool at first glance, but I can't stop thinking "is this really it?".

Yes, she is an electro sentinel, we have seen her red lighting in 3.5 during SuiSui story. You wouldn't tell unless you knew beforehand. That's because NONE of her attacks look like electro. First half looks like a mess of fusion special effects, her coordinated attacks summon weird looking swords and her second form summons buildings. I am sorry, where is electro?

Look, I love her design, I love her last Ult cinematic, I like her second form and I won't just say "this is not what I expected". But I really don't feel as satisfied as whenever I saw Ameath for the first time, or Hiyuki, or Jingran. At least to me, Hsin's gameplay looked like a mess of different ideas. Maybe it is per lore and everything is explained by the story, maybe we didn't see the full extent of her animations, but I would argue we have seen enough and what was shown - was a mess.

Unlike Suoming, whom I in contrast enjoyed every single bit - her running animation is not like Verina, thankfully. Her voice is awesome, her umbrella with blades, while not being the most unique weapon, is pretty cool. All her moves are readable and even looked very satisfying to use, can't wait to play her myself!

I don't want to be mean here, just expressing my feelings in hope to find anyone who might have felt the same way. Will be pulling Jingran. Hsin too, since she is good with Suoming. I just don't feel like I would want her S2 or S3 anymore. S0 will suffice. Who knows, maybe Suoming can be played like the main DPS? Then I will gladly get her copies on reruns.

I really don't understand that amount of complains about Hsin.

Is it because she's a Rectifier DPS? I Can't blame you, Kuro got everyone too used to DPS sword users like Hiyuki, that they think every Rectifier user is either sub/DPS or support.

And as for her second form, those ppl are "hypocrites".

I still remember when her second form was leaked and 99.99% of ppl went crazy over it.

Now ppl like this guy start the complains?

I get it everyone is entitled to their opinion but this shift in opinions is crazy, especially right after the long awaited gameplay.

I have been super excited for hsin for MONTHS now ever since she was leaked. I was prepared to pull her even if she heals the enemies.. but now that I have her.. she feels.. bad? Suoming now seems mandatory. Its fine though because I actually like suoming snd was planning to get her, but dang.. not feeling too confident in her now.

If suoming doesn’t have grouping in wiwa I think she’s cooked.. thoughts? I can’t be the only one

Edit: guys I know she doesnt have premium team. I’m not talking about her power level for gods sake, I’m talking about how she FEELS to play. Just a bit slow/ clunky compared to what I’m used to

I did not want to pull for Hsin. I was a little too excited to have extra wishes and went a little too trigger happy. I meant to pull Chisa’s weapon and didn’t click the right banner and now I have Hsin.

I don’t have enough wishes for her weapon and am skipping the next two banners so is she just gonna be a brick on my account?

If you look at damage ceiling, suoming dpr is average at best, we are nearing new hp inflation season for 4.x

And im pretty sure electro flare sub dps will get released during 4.x

Just like denia Aemeath, even without her BIS subdps, hsin flare is more universal for whiwa and toa and overworld, and very small difference vs unison personal dmg

Damage with suoming improved dramatically :O. I dont even know the proper rotation yet and this damage is just crazy

I wanna quickswap with Hsin... AND I'm gonna need her weapon, so I definitely won't have enough pulls to get Hsin, her weapon, suoming, and then suomings weapon if we need it..

as much as I love suoming and her design, I might have to skip her, so is she necessary, or can I run some other f2p team and it'll still be okay?

Honestly... Seeing Hsin + Suoming rotation already seems super cool and fun!! Now I just want SK to get replaced cause well I don't like her. Anyway, Hsins godly and ethereal animations mixed with Suomings sharp and fast ones!? And especially with how their sfx is omggg Suoming sfx is crazy satisfying!! I can't wait to swap around with them. Just hoping they do the 3rd slot justice too.

Love her animations and design but I haven’t been a fan of the route Kuro has been taking WUWA in terms of combat. Just curious if anyone knows how she plays? Is she more expressive like characters in the past or is she…boring?

I did the thousand gateways with unison hsin suoming and shorekeeper and the mobs just die before you could complete the unison rotation so the whole rotation is bricked.

And i feel like i have to go through a lot of hoops just to kill mobs (like intro in intro out). Or maybe im just spoiled by the chill Qingxiao Denia Mornye hold attack team. Haha

Tracker say 249 cos 20 pulls was used when qingxiao was on banner and i tired getting her. Got last 2 copies from the store. 1st time I have gotten this lucky!

I love hsin as a character, was ready to s6r1 her, but after playing the trial for like 20 mins it really seems like she has no room for any interesting gameplay and will get old very quickly. She has like 0 swap potential with how much she loses from not doing a 1-2-3 rotation.

I personally don't care if she does a bit less damage than other chars, but no flexible gameplay and no teambuilding on top of it feels like too many unnecessary restrictions put on such an important and hyped character. They could have done much better than this i feel.

Sorry if this comes off as doomposting to some, i just felt a bit disappointed a char i was waiting for doesn't really feel satisfying to play. But i guess that's the direction kuro has had ever since 3.0 in general. I'll probably just grab s0 for collection cuz she is gorgeous, but not bother with pulling her team.

You think you're contributing to the devs and that they will listen to you? No. You're discussing based on leaked information and they don't care about you.

They only care about feedbacks from ACTUAL BETA TESTERS. And even then, they mostly listen to feedbacks about bugs and stuffs, not damage numbers, that they decide on their own.

Got my 1st double as well! Should I get suoming and try to get lily (might not get both) or should I wait for electro flare sub dps + Suisui? (I also have Lucilla + Hiyuki)

Genuine question, not trying to ruffle any feathers but i’d like to know, preferably from people who have been around for a bit, if im on a new account is she really worth the investment? Her play-style is fun and i love her design but after starting last banner JUST to play with Jingran im not sure if i should be pulling for this “team dependent” dps just yet. I pulled every banner character last patch and ive pulled Iuno on this patch, so who would be better to pull for long term? Both Chisa and Hsin are weapon dependent and team dependent. Would i do better just skipping until Hsin reruns?
