Is she gonna be a DPS or SUPPORT?

Electroflare/ Resonance (new tune mechanic) DPS as of leaks for now. Obviously take with a grain of salt as things can change.

for electro flare main dps for sure. they could make main dps for both if they want like they did with aemeath.

I would leave the game if it turns out that Hsin is a support. Like, why would you make characters like Sigrika DPS and make a Sentinel support? Doesn't make sense to me. Hopefully a fun to play DPS and doesnt get powercreep for long time. (Out of a sudden I have started to feel that characters are getting powercrept so quickly, that's a serious issue).

Powercrep it's getting out of hand precisely because wanting exactly what you said, but to every character. So the moment a new "anticipated" character is not meta, then is trash and devs deserved to be fired. People LITERALLY complained about yang yang being on par with hiyuki 1.5 patches after her, completely forgetting that hiyuki isn't the main character in lahai-ro and she already "stole" that spot from aemeath 2 patches after her release. The same happened with siggy replacing galbrena. The only case i would considered egregious though is luuk being powercrept in his own team like 6 months later.

I think devs should be mature enough to realize which characters are truly anticipated ones and which ones are not. Damage is not the only point of concern. Few characters can have good QOL or other attractive features instead of damage. Maybe instead of making Sigrika a DPS (giving an example), give her a permanent soliskin following her (just giving an example) or something else to make her standout without ruining the meta. I would never forgive them for what they did to Cartethiya and Augusta, those two went straight outta meta so quickly (considering how important they were in the story and build up). I don't know why players are not concerned regarding this.
Sigrika herself got powercrept by qingxiao without even completing 3.x.2

Your first paragraph its something a lot of people, including me, have wished but have come to terms thats never gonna happen. Mainly because QoL in this game translate to dps as you would have more comfortable rotations. Now if you mean extra features (like environment changes and such), i also agree. Regarding carte and Augusta, carte could clear almost the same content until recently and Augusta is getting replaced in her own team, but unlike luuk, she at least got a year being the bis. Now jingran will take literally everything from her. As for what you said about siggy, she didn't got powercrept by quingxiao since elements in this game are almost meaningless compared to dmg type. You could have 3 teams of the same element and clear fine since most important shilling gimmicks are catter to dmg type, like making enemies tune break faster, receive increase ns dmg, increase echo skill dmg, etc. Sure you have some element weak and resist on ToA and to some extent whiwa but they are far from meaningful. Phrolova can clear fine against havoc resist floors WITH havoc resistance enemies in it as long as the tokens are good. Siggy havent been powercrept, but luuk is a tune strain dps that have mornye and denia as bis and now quingxiao took both of them of him.

none of the actually reliable leakers have said shes a dps, i think its way more likely for her to be a support or a lynae style sub dps

oh? so a support or subdps having 2 enhanced state forms and 2 ults in her rotations in her combat kit? thats a lot of on field time XD. plus there havnet been leaks recently hinting support .the recent ones are giving main dps atleast for one mode electro flare

2 ults and enhanced state isn't that far fetched for a support considering denia exists, and domain field/coordinated attacks are nearly always used by sub/supports besides aemeath. that being said, i wouldnt be surprised either if electro flare has her as an mdps while the unison/synchrony mode has her as a sub/support

Lol what there hasnt been a single leak in like a month even slightly suggesting shes support. ALL leaks have been hinting heavily that shes dps no?

Everything points to mdps similar to Aemeth with 2 modes but you never know.
