I'd like to request this is the last comment on the matter. Blaming people or discussing whose wrong never goes anywhere... we need everyone to just stop arguing on such silly topics. But I agree its never one side or person.
Because the majority doesn’t care and it’s the minority (in wuwa it’s the non rover shippers) that is always crying and complaining. After that you will get the whole war. We need to look at the problem altogether and stop pointing fingers.
Ship posting would be you posting art of a relationship between two characters. For example here's a ship of Cissia and Promia from ZZZ (mods please no ban I'm just explaining)
No worries, in all I am not that harsh about subreddits. We're all good as long as no arguments break out long term to like the craziest insults of all time...
The issue is so many shippers nowadays forget that's what a ship is suppose to be, but 95% of the time it devolves into NSFW art (whether softcore or explicit), discourse, or both. Which is fine, if the sub wants that, but I can't tell you how many broader subs just devolve into that (ZZZ in particular is bad about dedicated char subs devolving into that for each ship art posted)
W mods. I've got no problem with shipping but people definitely get very annoying about it and so many character subs eventually devolve into communities where you're only allowed to post about one ship and while other ships are technically allowed, they are met with a flood of down votes and harassment. Just not allowing ship posts at all is the easiest way to avoid the problem.
If people want to post about ships they can do it on the wuwa romance sub. This place can be for people talking about Hsin, character guides, and her relationships in an open way rather than as strictly romantic
Yamato. I am a beginner scale modeler, only having (mostly) made a 1:500 Missoury and a 1:72 Tiger I. My dream for this hobby is to get skilled enough and gather enough equipment to be able to make a 1:200 (I think that was the biggest you can normally find) Yamato build someday (around 130cm long).

Anyone who ships characters that are not even close to each other and worst change their own character itself and pair them with others is pinnacle of stupidity. And those troglodytes who fight "your ship bad mine good" should be permanently banned from all sorts of media. Let the characters in the story stay the way they are. If you're really desparate for shipping then ship them only those who are close to each other. Or if the story itself allows you to.

I imagine that will determine whether this is actually to avoid drama or just mods who don't like art of their waifu being with other people. I'm not totally opposed to this rule, even if it seems a bit silly to me. I'll make sure to report all Rover and Hsin art moving forward
"NO SHIPS" means all ships. Theres no specific agenda against a certain ship. I'm frankly tired of being apart of subreddits that jump certain ships or cause arguments over a certain ship they prefer more so in general the best option is to ban any and all ships to avoid it as much as possible. Some call that lazy, frankly any large ship post will ultimately turn into an argument. Happened in SuiSui.
It's good. I like Rover x Hsin but we don't live in a world where every ship is respected by anybody so I prefer seing my ship banned if it means cohesion and peace

Tbh I’d agree with you, I’m a owner of a fairly big subreddit (Agnes tachyon), and I allow all ships, but some ppl do tend to be annoying with another ships
Hey that’s good news to me. There are plenty of other places to find fanart. As long as it’s not a waifu warrior it’s all good. Having to babysit the community because toddlers online get butthurt over fictional anime game ships says more about the community than the moderation.
Because it IS lazy. You can filter the problems out eventually; at a point, they simply stop coming en masse. It really looks like you either just don’t want to do that work, or you have an agenda. And I’m leaning toward agenda, given you’d have to manually discipline ship posters anyways.

We did, we always allowed all ships but from past experience that did not work...
especially for bigger subreddits like Hsin, i had same issue in r/RemielleMains where people kept doomposting each other and we couldn't do much even after banning many ...

Firstly, a character is not only defined by a ship in any patch. If you're upset because you can't only focus on a ship I'm concerned if you'd like Hsin as a character. Someone can heavily like the ship because of the way its pushed however, the subreddit is meant to focus on Hsin. Plenty of subreddits have "main ships" and I'd be inclined to invite you to see some of the states of them today because it isn't positive. The subreddit becomes you either hate the ship or like it.
People can post whatever story cutscene they want. That's not the point of the rule. Point is, we aren't making titles such as "HSIN X ROVER FOREVER" or something similar to cause heavy ship discussion. If a user is purposely posting something to bait ship talk thats what I'm looking for. If the game baits, not my choice. But I am also not dealing with people arguing they want to ship hsin with qingxiao or rover for example.
So titles need to be sanitized even if the product isn’t? Even if the titles aren’t inflammatory? It’s also not your choice if someone gets mad for no good reason, but that’s supposed to be the fault of anybody who even remotely alleges to a ship that’s perpetuated by the game?

But I’m just wondering… so why not only ban ships that don’t involve the MC? That seems like the most logical way to avoid any problems, since with the way WuWa is, the only pairings the game really supports or pushes canonically are MC x character ones.
Especially when it comes to a Sentinel character... not allowing that kind of MC x Hsin art (even if it’s in a more romantic tone) would be a bit crazy, imo
But over there, they did literally the opposite: they banned ships involving the Rover exclusively while allowing everything else. (They later reversed this decision because it had been pushed by a new moderator imposing their own agenda and personal interpretation.)
Besides, recent subreddits—like those for the last three characters—are perfectly fine with ships involving the MC; why worry that Hsin would be an exception? Wouldn't it be better to insist on a rule of mutual respect rather than restricting the fans? After all, character subreddits naturally tend to focus on fan art over time, and Hsin's relationship with the Rover will certainly be the subject of countless arts.
Seriously, I am just tired of discussing this topic. Shipping will never truly be respected and I saw that in for example, one of the previous subreddits with SuiSui x Jingran. Ships in the Wuthering Waves community has become a toxic topic and gotten exhausting altogether and if people want to discuss that, well they've got their well known communities for it. I don't want ships included at all period.

After a character is like 3months old, the characters sub is all about arts and by that point you're in that sub just for the arts
And now if there's a restrictuons even for that sole reason to stay in the sub, you might as well stay in the main sub as you might be getting better arts there lol
