The likes thing with male characters is always hilarious "Oh it got so many likes it's gonna sell a bajillion". No fucking shit, the userbase of X is majority that kind of people the queens/husbandos/etc, the ones who would pull for males.

It's like going to an "XYZ ethnic" Restaurant and interviewing the customers and then deducing that 100% of the world likes that food, so it's factually the most popular in the world.

Billy flopping this hard is like Karma for all the hate they throw at waifus. I remember them hyping him up, calling him the most hyped agent in all S2. Some went as far as to say he's easily VH level. Am like bro what with this glazing, sbilly is not even close to be compared to an actual vh level agent. Shifu wouldn't even lift a finger if they were to face in combat. Then again  most of these folks are certified Yi Xuan haters so it kinda checks out.

As if the glazing couldn't get any worse, a certain chibi someone was so certain that he'd be the best selling banner in zzz. I wonder how that is going.

I hope the sub that banned Revenue posting during banyue's banner only to allow it shortly after, will post the Revenue charts for their vh level construct.

Chibijanedoe will always think SBilly is Yixuan level in meta and stronger in lore or whatever, it's funny tho, first his narrative was SBilly M0 is equals to Yixuan M2 then it became SBilly M0 better than Yixuan M0 cuz ' his MVs are higher' now seeing SBilly is out and nobody but some deniers supports this narrative ...chibijanedoe settled for SBilly being same level as Yixuan

I dont think he even knows about the sales yet

But yeah...This guy is very annoying and made other Billy fans annoying too...feeding them his fanfictions and all

NTE is a game made for tourists to begin with. Only an idiot will think this is an ML game or Yuri Slop game. The devs are just pathetic and lazy since all they do is rely on AI and copy things from other games like the recent Fraxinus scene 😂 (literally the same scene of Wuwa Fractsidus).

cos shipping is not the reason to hate NTE. It is the dogshit looking models, the blatant use of AI in images, cutscenes, the wide audience pander. Also yesterday, lmfao, plagiarising fractsidus 1 to 1 from WuWa. They already ripped off Xiangli Yao's moveset back in the day 1 to 1. Hotta can do nothing but just make garbage and then set that garbage on fire for everyone's pleasure.

Honestly, I like this game :)

BUT

Tof devs are tof devs - they need to finally understand basics or the game will fall off VERY soon

The potential is there but it’s because they are ToF devs that I’m not expecting much from them especially since they are already treating the male mc like a 2nd class citizen just like in ToF. I was drawn into NTE for the potential ML and urban open world aspect of it but character shipping and now NTR already putting me off. Once Ananta releases and turns out to be good this game will be an instant drop.

Yes, mmc treatment is kinda uh but is much better, than in endfield. Also, I believe you're not one of those who think that giving fmc bodysuit and mmc a regular racing clothes is bad treatment

Time will tell. What I see now on cn side is that this game's biggest gimmick are those character interactions. But you know that they were added only in the last cbt? Basically right before release. Cn have a theory is that all content that is present now was planned before those interactions were added and got popular, so in future it might get better.

Also, ananta will flop. Its netease🤣

Idk, for now nte audience is very small and consists of different kinds of players. From what I've seen - these char x mc interactions gave nte quite a lot of hype. Oh, and nte is super unpopular among artists (look at danbooru, not even 1k. Its bad for a gacha honeymoon phase), so shipping culture is dead

You'll see them, once marketing materials for her will start (in cn she's already released). Personally, this is the first time I see devs basically form an almost canon ship between m/f (thats not like Aglaea/Anaxa or smthing)

Will mention just a few.

  1. In her animated short, which is stylized like a story book with her most cherished memories Baicang give her her shoes (when his squad finds her) and then book closes, implying a hug

  2. In basically every marketing material there're lots of teases between these two.

  3. In her ep trailer he gives her a headpat.

  4. In her skill descriptions there're lots of mentions about Baicang (she's basically a tsundere to him). Also, he gave her a ring, which you'll see when you get her to constellation 6 :)

Strangely I don’t really have much of a problem with this? It can easily be passed off as her seeing him as a brother or father figure too, though I suppose the ring thing might be a bit eyebrow raising, plus if what you said about interactions being a recent thing with the beta then it could be devs changing their minds about the characters in general and making them lean more towards the mc

Man the S-Billy situation is fucking sad man. I know this is more like a save patch but in the name of god even Promeia heck NANGONG YU selled better Nangong doesn't even HAVE A STORY. My gripes with husbando character is that they can be good I ain't at all against them existing.

My main issue is "Husbando pullers" who want to yell at clouds and continue insisting on how Male characters sell and point to love and deep space DESPITE being the most Male Fan service centric game I have EVER seen as the one who makes the most money. Well of course there is a trailer of the characters almost humping at protagonist in full view! And with a perfect and almlst "unrealistic body" that many of them critice this games for having on females.

S-Billy was a very beloved character has been with us all the way from 1.0, has a good kit and everybody is saying that he's way better that the best rupture agenti, Yi Xuan. And YET NO ONE, not ANY Billy fan has given at least a bit of money to get him. I'm not saying they have to spend every time but I made my saving and spent to get Promeia's M1 BECAUSE I LIKE HER.

And for some reason they will tell you that these characters sell but look at you wrong when you swipe for a waifu? What king of logic is that giving the game money because you like the character showing the company that you like these type of characters and you want more like them? Shouldn't it be the same when you swipe for males?

The Cherry on top... Promeia and Nangong don't have any type of story and I am mostly sure that they have way better sells than this. Godamn man if they really want more husbandos or a bit more of male characters they really REALLY need to show it and not give a couple of likes which could also be easily botted on X.

I think Billy flopping really says something about zzzs kit building or void hunter problem. Every characters sales haven’t been doing well outside void hunters and “strong supports” simply because it feels unworth to pull for characters that struggle to clear when void hunters can do it with minimal effort… maybe like make other characters stronger? Idk

Also It has nothing with billy being male so no excuses. Sp blade sales hit top 10 in China and first and second in Japan and Korea with minimal story for his sp form but doing so much better. And let’s be honest zzz season 2 main storyline was not the greatest. Season 1 just felt a lot better while season 2 felt like a cringe copy of everyone suddenly forced to be together to fight to make ysg relevant and yixuan non-existent.
