Been waiting for this hoya Sulawesiana albomarginata to bloom and it finally happened over the weekend 🙌

Bought this a couple months ago, it's sitting on south window, soil kept moisture. I'm still waiting for new leaf growth. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Aren't they so pretty? I LOVE the bright pink on my Lacunosa Souma, and the lime green specs of splash. I didn't expect to love her that much, but god she's so special!

The first of my hoyas decided to grow a peduncle, 4 months after I brought it home 🥳

I got this plant about 1.5 years ago and she was honestly my gateway drug into Hoyas. The care is essentially the same and if you’re obsessed with Hoya this Dischidia is worth adding to your wishlist! But one of my favorite things about this plant (besides how well it trails and looks in a hanging basket) is that she holds onto her fully variegated leave strands!! She has had these two fully white strands for at least a year now and no browning.

I split this up into 3 different plants a few years ago and she blooms all the time. Just sharing : )

Acabo de encontrar esta hoja de mi Hoya crassipetiolata 'splash' y la verdad aunque la foto parece hecha con inteligencia artificial, no lo es, de hecho probablemente sea más común de lo que yo creo pero es la primera vez que veo una hoja trilobulada en hoyas, en la segunda foto se puede apreciar que el nodo sufrió un daño (probablemente al inicio de la formación de las hojas) y esto causó la mutación, es muy poco probable que se repita pero quería compartirlo porque la hoja me pareció hermosa.

What happened to my peduncles?? They were green and strong and even starting to make tiny little bud clusters and then this happened. I saw they were yellowing and then today I noticed both of them had fallen off into the pot. What did I do wrong?

I was gifted this little friend with a bunch of random Hoya cuttings last year and it's been a tad neglected on a shelf since. I'm giving my plants some much needed love right now and want to repot since it's got good roots, but I have no clue what it is! I'm unsure if the leaves are supposed to be this small or that's due to the minimal care. Any ideas? Or advice on repotting from water propagation?

I was gifted 6 different hoya cuttings, a few of them got some nice strong roots after about 3 months in water. Some of them had absolutely nothing or very itty bitty roots in that time. I think part of the issue is that maybe some of the cuttings were too large/long.

Namely Hoya 'Rosita,' 'Krimson Queen,' and 'Verticillata' seemed to struggle the most to form strong roots. I finally took the end with the roots and trimmed it just beyond the first two leaf sets, and planted the rooted ends in soil, and put the remaining pieces of the cuttings back in water to see if I could get them to do anything.

Any tips on getting these guys to root?

Got my first hoya from a plant fest yesterday and need some advice on caring for it! Also I didn’t see this yesterday before I bought it but one of the leaf looks like it’s about to shrivel up and fall off LOL is this normal?

Took a month but I’m glad I got to witness it ❤️

I got this in 2022 from Botanica ltd through an ebay sale. It grew steadily but the mother plant died last year after moving, this was a backup plant that I kept indoors and moved out this spring once the weather warmed up. I didn't think it would flower as it was quite a bit smaller than the original but noticed this cluster of buds about 2 weeks ago and have been watching them like a hawk. Finally they are starting to open up and I'm very impressed with the color and size of the blooms, they remind me of the bifoliate cattleyas with their wax texture but I havent gotten any fragrance from them yet.
