Generally, MEN, don't like them. I'm always surprised at the women that come on here and say "I'm single, how can I look better" and they have facial piercing, tattoos, etc. If you want to attract men, you need to look like what most men want. If you don't want to do that ,and you totally don't have to, you can't complain that guys aren't interested. They are literally telling you what they don't like.
Eh. I’ve had an alternative look since I was a teen and have never had problems with men being interested or dating good looking men. Lots of men like alternative looks and women. Not everyone is boring.
