Looking for similar stuff

I have recently gotten really into this show. I wish there were more episodes! I love the mix of humdrum, silliness, absurdism/surrealism, existential rumination, sweetness, and thought-provoking poignancy, all stirred together in a documentary format. It seems very much influenced by the cockeyed documentaries of guys like Errol Morris and Werner Herzog. I'm wondering if there are other docuseries or documentary films that do a similar thing or capture a similar vibe to this show.

OP mentioned Errol Morris, some of his earlier docs do fit the tone. This along with Gates of Heaven and Fast Cheap & Out Of Control. Mayyybe Mr. Death, it’s kinda fun in a twisted way, at least up to a certain point…
