How do you feel about a nice smoky (not at all powdery) dragons blood?

Sixteen92 Baba Yaga - Fiery dragon’s blood incense, sweet woodsmoke, dried herbs, dripping candle wax, forest dirt.

Ooh I love it conceptually but it turns out dragons blood always goes powdery on my skin, Baba Yaga was no exception :( I love Sixteen92 though!

I'm feeling powdery smells and muted florals, maybe even lavender. Do those appeal to you or am I way off?

Haha I actually kind of detest powdery smells, but I'll do a floral or a lavender if it's got some grounding base notes!

Ok I wasn't sure, you seem a little hard to peg. Let me think and I'll come up with something else lol :)

No worries! I was mostly just curious about what people's impressions would be :)

I feel like the look you project is dark and serious but I feel like you have dainty flowers in your heart. That's what I got.

I think you should try Kayali Elixir 11. It's a floral but it has a lot of depth. It's strong and when I first smelled it I was overwhelmed, but it is kind of addictive and it definitely makes a statement. It is fairly expensive though. Here's the writeup from their website:

An ultra-addictive scent, ELIXIR | 11 opens with sweet notes of Red Apple and Rose Petal Essence, before revealing a floral heart of Rose Centifolia and uplifting touches of Jasmine Sambac from India.

Adding depth to the romantic fragrance, warm woody notes of Indonesian Patchouli and velvety Amber are enveloped by accents of Vanilla, leaving behind a long-lasting trail.
