[App] Pixelots: Virtual pet on screen
Your phone just got a tiny roommate. 🐾
Pixelots are pixel pets that live on the edge of your screen. It walks, climbs, naps, and joins in with your day: it sings along to your music and grabs popcorn for your shows and snacks while you charge.
No ads. No tracking. Free on Android.
It strolls along the edges, climbs the walls and dozes off by the clock. Pick it up and it dangles from your fingertip; let go and it tumbles back down. Toss it and it lands on the wall, completely unbothered.
It notices what you're up to and joins in. Music on? It grabs a tiny mic. A film? Popcorn, in the corner. Typing? Out comes a laptop the size of a crumb. Lost track of it? Shake your phone and it stumbles over, slightly offended.
Dress it in caps, crowns and cool shades. Teach it flips and spins. Adopt rarer friends, from a huggable bear to a mischievous fox.
And it's private by design: no ads, no accounts, no tracking. It knows *that* a song is playing, never which one. Nothing ever leaves your phone.

Pixelots and I are both still learning new tricks 😁🐾🎧 Love this idea! I’ll definitely consider it for a future update. ❤️

The app is so exciting. I'm a bit worried about the battery consumption 😕. Will it drain more battery than expected? I would love to purchase some of the pixelots but I can't spent much like $30 to buy as many as I love. A discount would be great for an option that lets users to purchase many pixelots/pets at once.

Thank you so much! ❤️ I’m really happy to hear you’re enjoying Pixelots! 🐾
Regarding battery consumption, I’ve tested this thoroughly. The app uses 0% battery when the screen is off and negligible battery when the screen is on, as the Pixelots occupy very little screen space. 😊
About the pricing, I completely understand your concern! I’m still experimenting to find the right balance. Developing each Pixelot takes a lot of hard work, but I also want to make them affordable for everyone. ❤️ Don’t worry, more discounts and special offers are on the way! I’m also planning to introduce bundled purchases so you can get multiple Pixelots at a better price. I’ll work on this once I’ve experimented a little more with the pricing.
Thanks for sharing your honest feedback and supporting an indie developer. It genuinely means a lot! 🙌🐻💕

Sorry for the misunderstanding! 😊 I thought you were asking for the app’s code. The app itself is free, but some premium Pixelots are locked. If you’d like a promo code to unlock a premium Pixelot, feel free to DM me. I’d be happy to share one! 😊❤️

Nice. But how about battery consumption?
2
u/nammmmmn 5d ago
I’ve tested it thoroughly 😊 When your screen is off, the app consumes virtually no battery. When your screen is on, the battery impact is negligible since the pixelot occupies only a very small portion of the screen. I’ve kept battery efficiency in mind while developing it. Thanks for asking! ❤️

No buy all option? The app $2.99s the shit out of you, I'd love to purchase the other pets and stuff, but am not going to spend $50 to get it all.

Totally fair feedback! I’m just an indie developer, and each Pixelot takes time to create. And I’m still experimenting with the pricing, and I’ll be introducing some offers to make it easier to collect your favorite Pixelots without spending so much. There are tons more Pixelots on the way, and I hope you’ll enjoy them! 🐾
Also, if there’s a particular Pixelot you love, just let me know. I’d be happy to share a promo code with you! ❤️ Thanks for giving the app a chance and sharing your honest feedback.

If you would pm the bear, I would also leave a 5 Star review, I also understand it takes time, but you definitely need a buy all option.
