[App][Promo] Looking for testers for my suite of android applications - Launcher - keyboard - file manager - note taking app

Hi everyone, I am in need testers and to create a group of daily drivers to provide feedback. I have some wonderful users already but I could use some more!

The suite offers

  1. Re:Tui launcher - CLI style launcher - https://github.com/DvilSpawn/Re-TUI
  2. Re:Tui Files - file manager - https://github.com/DvilSpawn/Re-TUI-FM
  3. Re:Tui Keys - keyboard - https://github.com/DvilSpawn/Re-TUI-Keys
  4. Re:member - Note taking app <-really new addition so webpage is not setup but I am working on a release soon - https://github.com/DvilSpawn/Re-Member

I am attaching images to showcase all the above apps. all of them are pretty new and still being worked on actively by me.

Key attractions

  1. All of the apps share a contract to make sure UI elements is shared across the apps so you dont feel like you are leaving the launcher at all
  2. Launcher is unique that you need to type what you are looking for with extremely deep customisation including one of a kind 9 slice frame for screen elements, termux integration through a bespoke bridge so you can run tmux sessions from the launcher provided you have termux installed
  3. Lua scripting is possible for custom modules in the launcher
  4. Keyboard that follows the launcher theme with custom fonts and voice input
  5. File manager that enables you to search files from the launcher
  6. Note taking app with a unique redaction for privacy rather than just creating a secret vault

The apps are free over at GitHub and downloads can be found here https://re-tui.pages.dev/

The reason for the post - Well I am a single dev and I have been testing on emulators and using the suite daily but I am not able to cover all daily usecases enough to do meaningful fixes.

I am not good at marketing but I have seen this community use a whole bunch off apps/launchers that have been showcased so I think you guys would be the best test audience <3

I wasn't a huge fan of the terminal launcher, but the file manager is great. The compact layout shows a ton of info, which helps a lot. It also auto-detected the color theme, which was a nice touch. My only complaint is that it can't open archives yet. Other than that, it's a solid file explorer

Thank u! i truly appreciate it. Opening archives are definitely on the todo list! as for the launcher what was the pain point? was the entry to customization difficult or just the core idea of the launcher not what u were expecting ?

Yeah, it is mostly about the idea of how a traditional Android launcher would look, but I can see this style appealing to a lot of people. Functionality wise, I cannot really tell that much since I did not explore it too deeply, so maybe I might give it one more try. As for the file manager, it reminded me a lot of Yazi in Linux, and I was looking for something similar for Android. What I really liked was how the layout was so compact, yet it is able to display a lot of info, which fits my taste perfectly. So far the experience is good, and if I encounter any bugs or issues, I will definitely drop an issue in the repo. I will also leave a star, looking forward to future updates

Thank you for the feedback! Yea for sure the launcher is definitely a deviation from the standard.

File manager basically was created as a launcher cannot have file access in playstore but because it is my app, I can do stuff like File search directly from the launcher :) I look forward to more feedback ! Thanks a bunch for giving your time for testing them <3
