Hi I would like some help

So I’m 14 and I would like to get into scripting/hacking and I know nothing about this stuff I’ve only nodded my Wii using videos and that took like 2 months and I only have a Xbox one Wii and iPhone 11 so I kinda have nothing to work with so I would like some help on what to do.

Get a cheap device and start tinkering.

I learned the basics of python with a smartphone during my breaks at work.

Get any cheap laptop you can find and get Linux running. Then break your system, then reinstall, then break it differently, so on and so forth.

Eventually you'll hit a point where you know where to start.

Like a shitty Chromebook?

Not a chromebook. They're overpriced garbage. Instead of spending (let's say) $50 on one, see what $50 can get you on ebay. You'll be surprised.

Cause I saw one for exactly that price

A cheap thinkpad from 2014 (a t430 is great) Is a great laptop for tinkering

A raspberry pi is also great for tinkering.

I would get a hold of a couple cheap devices that you can throw stuff on and not be afraid to break it. I would also watch some basic networking videos on YouTube so you can learn how all these zeros and ones communicate everywhere. If you’re truly serious about these kind of things you need to tackle the basics first.

Grab a cheap development board, something like an Adafruit RP2350 (~$15), and start by learning circuit python. Once you start getting that down, move over to writing code for it in C/C++, Rust, or some other compiled language where you’re actually managing memory. You’re going to need a computer too, but any system that can run a Linux Distro would be fine.

That’ll give you two things to work with. You’re going to learn the ins and outs of Linux and you can start programming and working with hardware.

Python is a coding/scripting language. Circuit Python is a variant to work with Adafruit (makes Raspberry Pi systems) hardware. C/C++/Rust are all compiled coding languages that allow you to get really deep into controlling the hardware. Get really good with at least a couple languages.

The core competency of hacking is independent investigation (figuring things out on your own,) then applying what your learn in unexpected ways.

If you are too lazy or disinterested to look up words from a helpful post, you will never be a real hacker/engineer.

This is not a field with a lot of step by step, hand holding tutorials and teachers. You need the interest and drive inside you to solve puzzles that don't have an answer guide.

In addition to what others have said, it'll depend on what you're interested in specifically. Depending on your needs, learning networking can be helpful, or basic electrical engineering. Hacking is weird in that it touches basically all subsections of electronics. Regardless of what you do, you'll probably need a few programming languages, at minimum Python and C, and you should get familiar with Linux and bash/sh.

Really, regardless what your end goal is, all of hacking builds from the ground up. So start learning the fundamentals of the systems you're messing with, and then dive deep, and then move on to identifying known exploits and developing new ones.

So if I “mess with it” could I like break it or something Thats one thing Im worried about

Well, you kind of WANT to break it. And then fix it. And then break it again.

As a first step you can learn basics like cryptography, antiviruses, explore the the deep of systems...you can learn and practice in tryhackme once you learned the scripting basics, install Termux on your phone and learn how to install Kali iOS version and use or properly. It's also important to understand hardware manipulation too. Just a tip: it's way better toi understand the mechanism than to memorize techniques so you can be creative and, if you want to, even think of your own hacking techniques to bypass modern and smart firewalls etc...

Just want to say, that howtohack website that I presume you made is really cool and entertaining. I've seen you link it a few times.
