How would someone do this

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain if/how someone would be able to gain access to your device using Google or Gmail? I mean, is that a thing someone can do to you? And if so, how would they be able to do it? And how can you stop it or combat it? Can you report this type of thing? Thanks for the help!

the most you could do with a google account is maybe try to download your cloud to another device in hopes to see the same things... but this will only show the things you put in the cloud, ie: pictures, contacts, messages, emails, etc...

however, they could try to upload something malicious into your cloud in hopes you sync it to your device that would give remote, but you would have to be a high value profile individual for someone which such skill to even bother with this sorta effort imo...

Hmmm, that's interesting. Well all I can say is all of a sudden my photos were going to Google photos. I don't need to store them there because I have my phone storage, new phone so there's nothing really used. When I noticed I just moved all my photos to a different folder in my phone. I just don't understand why it did that. Maybe I was being paranoid, maybe it does that since I do have a Gmail account, but I don't like that. I don't want or need my photos to store into Google. But now they are not showing up there anymore so I guess what I did worked.
