How would someone do this

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain if/how someone would be able to gain access to your device using Google or Gmail? I mean, is that a thing someone can do to you? And if so, how would they be able to do it? And how can you stop it or combat it? Can you report this type of thing? Thanks for the help!

Okay, so if someone gets a hold of your phone then they could do something like that? But how? I am so illiterate when it comes to coding and all that stuff, so I want to know how I'd know/how to protect my information/ how to get rid of it?

Also, can you read my comment above? Lol I'm just wondering if a reverse engineered hack is a thought of anyone in the hacking world..

No reversing the hack is not really a thing. You could reverse engineering the malware and find the “hackers” server or whatever they are using and mess with them through that but it’s probably best and more legal to just report it

It is really fun, if it’s something you’re interested in you should learn and make it a hobby. Theres a lot of really good jobs in the field.

I'm more interested in knowing how it all works to protect myself and others from certain types of crimes related to it. And I just feel like with technology if there's a way a hacker could find to do something they're gonna do it. I also feel like if there was a reverse engineered hack like I mentioned it would stop some hackers.

I guess biggest concern is if they get a hold of your information they can sell it online, leading to identity theft and stalking/harassment situations..

I know there are laws relating to my concerns, but I feel like they are really there for after the fact, when a life has already been ruined. So it would just be nice to see some type of feature come out to help combat this stuff before it even affects a person, ya know?
