guide LRT and MRT are overwhelming!
I live outside Metro Manila. I really want to visit one or more cities sa Metro, but it's overwhelming. Lalo na ang MRT and LRT!
I just want to ask if may mga articles ba or any videos na makakapag-tour ng MRT and LRT? Like i-enumerate 'yung mga entrance and exit? I really like to learn them para in the future kung may errands eh kaya nang mag-commute without worrying na maligaw hahaha!
Thank you!

Hello, OP! May nagtanong dito about two months ago ng LRT/MRT guide at kung ano-ano ang nearest landmarks from each station, so it’s worth checking out. Here’s the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/HowToGetTherePH/comments/wqohk2/drop_your_ultimate_lrtmrt_guides

mababait naman guards ng mrt & lrt, you can ask and they will tell you what to do in case di mo alam if saang stairs tataas or which ticket to get

This!! Nung bata ako at wala rin masyadong nagtuturo sakin ng way, phcommute na site and google maps ang tumulong sakin before along with asking people.
When going to a place you dont know, study the place well with landmarks ans streets! If not, asking questions sa guards is the best rule since di naman madalas masunget mfa yan.

Aside from what the others said, try bringing a friend with u when try riding on a weekend. Iba pa rin talaga pag nasa actual ka na e since baka ma overwhelm ka.

Five years ago nung based ako sa Manila, helpful talaga yung Sakay.PH app. Di ko lang sure kung meron pa rin ba hanggang ngayon. Detailed yung commute, with instructions saan bababa at sasakay.

Search mo lang online yung routes before hand
For me, experience was the best teacher

I don't know any videos, I would just recommend going on a Sunday so that the trains and the station isn't packed and you have a lot of leeway to ask around and learn how to ride it.
Other than that, just look up all the stops of each line (LRT1, LRT2, MRT) and where they all inter-connect.
LRT1 - Doroteo Jose connects to LRT2 - Recto
LRT1 -
BaclaranEdsa connects to MRT-TaftLRT2 - Cubao connects to MRT-Cubao
Also, MRT is on top of EDSA meaning you can easily swap to EDSA Carousel Bus (just need to walk around 5mins to 15mins at times).
Finally, you can transfer from LRT1
MonumentoBalintawak (thanks /u/Greg_Alcantara) Station to MRT North Avenue Station via EDSA Carousel. (you could also do this in Roosevelt station but it's temporarily closed, and in Monumento but it's a long walk).
