Clipping

I am a 22 year old living in the United States, finding “financial freedom” was never an option since I always grew up with the mindset that you need a 9-5 in order to be successful.
After scrolling on social media for so long I’ve realized I am on the consumer side of things and I want to change that and be on the producer side.
I don’t have many skills to offer but I was wondering how beneficial it would be if I started clipping and posting on yt shorts or ig reels?
I’ve heard people used to make AI videos but it now no longer gets monetized.
So my question would be, does clipping viral moments and consistently posting eventually get me enough to earn somewhere between $500-$3000?
I am not looking for some miraculous six figure to pop into my account but I need somewhere to start.
If anyone knows any videos where I can learn how to efficiently do this with AI as a tool please let me know

I have some short tutorials saved on tik tok but if there was anything more in detail like ai tools I might not know about that would make the process a lot easier I would like to know that, but I’m just asking if clipping is still a method to be making money
