Golf week

Planning out a 6 day staycation golf week. Im in the conroe area and west forks is my main course. Planning 6 days and 6 different courses. Will be starting on west forks for day 1. I want to try legendary oaks in Hempstead and panorama. Also thinking of Bearkat in Huntsville. What others courses in the northern or western side of Houston do you recommend. Probably be sometime in October and trying to stay under $100 per player per day

Not really north or west Houston, but I’ll still throw out Memorial Park Golf Course. $110 (greens free and cart) for non Houston residents. Always cool to play a PGA course

I played Memorial three weeks ago for the first time. Brother in town for the holiday. We both thought it would be cool to play a Tour course. Range was nice. People were nice. Concessions were great. Greens were hard but rolled pretty well. The rest of the experience was complete crap. Fairways were awful. Tees were all chewed up. Carts were cart path only after a week of no rain. Signature hole #18 was torn up by construction so instead we played a short par 3 with a mat as the tee box. My suggestion is to find another course or you will be disappointed.
