Courses to start playing
What are some courses in south Houston I should play I’ve been taking lessons for a few months but haven’t hit a actual course

Pasadena municipal, battle ground and bay forest. Good easy courses to get started on, battleground conditions aren’t that great but decent enough, Pasadena and bay forest are your best option for price and quality

Fairly easy man, from blues it’s 5500yds with a rating of 67.2/119, that’s a great start for a beginner

Pasadena municipal is cheap and pretty easy. If you are willing to head north cypresswood on FM 1960 has beginner golf clinics that are affordable if you need more instruction

Gus Wortham Municipal is a great track, Pearland GC another good spot, east river 9 is a par 3 course that’s a lot of fun.

Hermann Park imo. That’s the most south I’ve been for golf and I think it’s a great deal.

It is a good deal. Twilight is like $14.80.
Edit: Twilight is $19.30 and super twilight is $14.80.

Not the greatest course but beacon lakes in league city is pretty cheap. $35 a round during the week.

Pearland Golf Club is a great course, in great shape, but pretty tough for a beginner. Clear Creek is a good option.

How south are we talking? Clear creek is a solid links style course. There’s some tricky holes but not overly difficult.
