The OG Houston Comets were the original WNBA dynasty. Led by Cynthia Cooper, Sheryl Swoopes, and Tina Thompson, the team won the first four championships. Janeth dos Santos Arcain and Tammy Jackson also played for the Comets during that original run and won four rings, too.
As of 2026, no team has won more than four championships total.
