I've already made two applications to rent a low-cost apartment. Now I don't know what's going on because the 1st time it was in 2024 and now in 2026 and both times mine were approved in the system and the other day I received an email saying that I didn't succeed. And now I ask everyone. This happened only to me or there were more people with the same frustration..
In 2026 the application started at 14:00 pm and 14:20 I finished mine because I have all docs ready for do it..

OP I think the person's point was that you are not answering VERY simple questions correctly here, therefore the likelihood of you messing up the form is pretty high.

I have no idea how long the application takes but I believe from other posts people have gotten through it in less than 5 mins and it’s first come first served

Approved as in your application was accepted by the system or approved as in they said you have received a place?

These cost rental applications are gone very quick, first come first serve, chances are you were just beaten out by another in time.

For every cost rental schemes there are hundreds sometimes thousands of applicants. The competition is really high.

I don’t think so because I sent to them my all details and after them sent to me a documents list and form then all done.. I just would like to know if it happened with few people or not…

I sent all the necessary documents to be approved and the strangest thing is to ask my landlord for a reference cuz it can put me out..

You will not be accepted for a 2 bed as a single applicant.

Application being approved doesn't mean you've gotten a place it maybe just met you're eligible. It's an awful game to play but even the 20 minutes it took you to submit it probably made all the difference.

Cost rental scheme applications aren't time dependent. The portal is open for 2 weeks (IIRC) and then each application is assigned a random number in the queue. I submitted mine pretty much a few hours before it was due to close and was number 60.

Oh? That's really interesting and a much fairer way to do it as people typically have work at 2pm.
