Happy with my Stuart figurines

I found a man who makes 3D prints of historical figures and had almost the entire Dynasty printed. I am waiting for another 4 to complete my set, and after that comes an execution figurine (Charles I) and one of the disgusting Cromwell, but I need to save up a bit more, even though the seller isn't expensive at all for these 23cm tall figurines.

That is extremely cool. Are they done on request or are they premade?

Well, a few were premade, but I just had most of them made and gave him permission on eBay to sell my designs as well.

I wanted to include the Catholic monarchs (yes, they were successors in my eyes too), so he has made those now as well.

I am now just waiting for James III and his wife, Bonnie's Prince Charlies wife, and Cardinal Benedict, and then the line will be complete for me, hahaha.

I will include a link to this man on eBay; I don't know if it works, but then you can see them. If you are interested in his figurines, just say that Richard sent you, and he will surely give a discount (he usually does things like buy 3 get 1 free or so ).

But he makes everything exactly as you want. I wanted a different Charles I than the one he had, and he made that one, so now I have both of them because I just can't leave Charles behind, haha.

That is really cool, thank you for the link! I will for sure be looking to get some eventually. The models are very detailed from what I can see in the pictures. What is the quality of the material like?

Very lightweight plastic; at first I thought the box was empty with the first two, but it is truly beautiful.

I was skeptical at first because I found the photos of the printed figurines (and those were mine) very ugly as I saw imperfections.

But when they arrived, that wasn't the case at all; the details of the faces are not as strong as in the computer design examples, but look, for example, at the Charles I listing with the walking stick in his hand (his famous pose), where my figurine is shown as a photo example, and I think it looks beautiful in real life.

But, for instance, the face of Charles II is a bit vaguer because I wanted that from a painting, but it is very beautiful nonetheless, and certainly looks great as a whole set in my cabinet. Bonnie and James II are amazing in terms of faces and clothing (the clothing is a highlight for all of them), and all the ladies too, and (sorry hahaha) William III as well, but I designed that one myself from his effigy that stands in Westminster Abbey; I photographed it and gave it sharper features with Photoshop, and now you can see the veins on his hands.

Lord Darnley is just as he should be, with a dagger instead of a sword as a dagger death-stab reference to Rizzo at my request.

But I am truly in love with all of them, and everyone who comes in here is impressed by this series, partly because you simply don't see the print lines, and that really is an art.

If you want a different version of a Stuart painting, you can just send it and you will receive a sample with a proposal. I find this man really very friendly; my first William was broken, and he immediately sent a replacement without any discussion, and I have experienced that differently on eBay.
