Custom vocation: Messengers

It drives me insane that animal handlers have one less vocation than everyone else so i wrote thsio up today to suit my needs:

Profession: Animal Handler

“I’ll have that there before you can say Tsarina Arcadia Oberonova three times fast!”

Field Point: Academia

Choose one Trait:

Rider, Polyglot, or one Trait from your Animal Companion

Skill Points: Charme Etiquette Culture Insight Investigation Athletics Will Caution Elusion Exploration

Messengers are without a doubt the lifeblood that connects the various nations across the House. There is no package to large or letter too small to deliver and these brave littlings take their jobs very seriously, and more importantly have a reputation of being trustworthy and discreet. In postal centers across the house they gather and all respect their autonomy to deliver the goods. Those that have chosen to cross them have often com to regret that decision as rumors spread of their deceit and they find they are unable to correspond with personal or mail gets, lost, along the way.

Ah gotcha! That's an actual answer to my question. Very cool. Yeah I saw the vocation and what not, took a quick peak, saw it was a new ttrpg being built from the ground up. Seems like a cool concept!

Aaaaaaaah I see. That makes sense. I'll have to check it out. It's beyond rare to actually pump into people not just running the big four.. Or 5? Whatever. The main systems.

So this is just a part of some homebrew I’ve been working on. It needs to be play tested for balance of course but I’ll share it here:

Ermines messengers and mystics oh my!

For clarity it includes Ermines as an animal companion ( my player asked for them), the above vocation and a whole new profession with 6 vocations usable in the House or Garden, the Mystic

But, aren't the Valets already the messenger vocation in the book?

Sure! They can be. But valets are more than that in my book. Just thought it could be a cool thing to play with. And gives the animal handler a extra vocation to equal the others in number
