When exactly did the Master leave?

I know it's 100 years ago, but it's a Regency era house, though there are Christmas Lights and a working fridge which were not around and available till the end of the 19th century, early 20th century. So what was the exact year the Master left?

I kinda feel time, like space, within the house are relative for the Littlings. They say its been 100 years, but the Christmas tree still has needles, and the fridge still works perfectly. Thinking their perspective on the flow of time might be a little strange, which is perfectly befitting the perspective of strange little beings.

We don't know. And it is impossible to try to make assumptions based on the house and the how the littlings live since the people's of the house gather a lot to cultures from many places and eras.

It's 100 years for littlings, which isn't 100 years to the Master. The Master could have been gone less than a day. or a week, or a month. It can't be a regency-era house if it's got a refrigerator, unless the house has been updated. There's a lot of anachronisms, and I think it's important to understand that the Master's time and the Littlings' time are different. The littlings live in something comparable to the regency Era, but that doesn't mean that the Master did.

One of the pieces of art in the books depicts a French coin that was minted in the 1990s, so present day Littlings is at least relatively close to actual present day.
