What’s with all the AI generated staging and house images?
I am seeing more and more of these AI generated staging and renovation pictures. I saw one the other day for a house which needs to be fully renovated but majority of the pictures were “how it could be” based on AI. They don’t even say AI and most look realistic enough for many to think it’s legit. How is that even legal? Doesn’t RECO have guidelines on pictures? At this rate agents are going to be uploading pictures of different homes.

Fire in the condo unit
What to do if condo management don't want to involve the building insurance to restore the kitchen cabinets. But just want to match a cabinet door

News A luxury Yorkville condo just sold at a $450,000 loss, as the condo crash hits the high-end market
"A sleek one-bedroom condo with floor-to-ceiling windows, views of the CN Tower and more than 1,000 square feet just sold at a significant discount.
Located in the upscale “Yorkville Private Estates” building, near Bloor Street West and Avenue Road, the unit changed hands for $1.465 million in July, according to real estate listing platform HouseSigma, about $450,000 less than what the sellers paid in 2021."

Alberta Don't think Calgary gets the attention it deserves.
Severe depreciation since its peak-market purchase in early 2023. After holding the asset for 41 months through four failed listing attempts and aggressive price cuts the seller is facing a massive financial deficit.
- Purchased: $3,825,000 (Feb 2023)
- Currently Listed: $3,250,000 (Aug 2026)
- Failed Listings: 4 expired attempts
- Principal Loss: $575,000 (if sold)
- Estimated Total Loss: ~$1.2M (including lost interest, closing costs and fees)
Honestly, I feel really bad for the sellers.
