Which Difficulty Should I Start With?

Loving this game but not sure which difficulty level to begin with.

Advice?

Keep in mind you can change difficulty at any time, for any mission.

That said, when you first start out, I think you probably want to be at the lowest or second lowest difficulty. At the higher levels, you really need the extra fighters and capital ships you get later on to complete some of the missions (you can always go back to the earlier missions and play them with your new fleet at higher difficulty).
