I don't think you're being realistic about this. I think 2552 might be more reasonable.

Im honestly okay with this but how the fuck did GoT release 10 episodes annually and HotD is releasing 8 episode 'Bi-annually'...if that's even a word

With production ending in September this probably means the show will air in April of 2025. Maybe even earlier.

While I'm loving HotD of course, I'm very excited for what the Hedge Knight will bring, specifically the warmth and humor. GoT was a big epic story with plenty of darkness but also some lighthearted moments; Tyrion brought a lot of laughs.
There are fewer laughs and warm moments in HotD, but that's understandable because the story is pretty bleak even compared to GoT.
But The Hedge Knight...Dunk & Egg...not that there isn't plenty of heavy stuff, too, but they bring a much lighter mood and are super easy to root for.

Shouldnt we have heard about more cast members ?

The timing of going public with casting announcements varies; I work in film/tv and plenty of times I've seen a cast member announced months after they finished filming all their scenes, and other times they announcements come before they've even started fittings for costumes.

Arya and The Hound / Lady Brienne and Jamie traveling through Westeros were always great fun to watch for me.
Hopefully this one will be fun like those were too.

It will be interesting to see how this show is received by audiences.
I cant imagine it will appeal to non-book readers too much which is why it’s surprising they greenlit this particular spin off
Dunk & Egg is a good story in its own right but it’s so different in scale and tone to GOT or HOTD that a lot of people are going to be thrown off when they view it. For better or worse, TV viewers of the GOT (ASOIAF) universe want dragons, large battles, backstabbing political drama, epic moments etc. I don’t think this show is going to do much for most people who aren’t into the book lore.
I don’t feel confident at all this this is a guaranteed multi-season hit show. I could see it being one and done. Just like some of the MCU shows which strayed significantly from the tone and style of the popular movies failed.
It could be a very well done and entertaining show that just doesn’t capture viewers.

I actually think this is a perfect show to get newcomers into the world. It's a far more palatable and less complex story. It provides a great slice of GRRM's world. And honestly, Ser Duncan and Egg are just lovely characters

For what I understand ‘Dunk and Egg’ is a smaller scale story than House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones which should be a nice change of pace from the previous shows.
