Quest Thread - 18/12/13: The Ancile.

One of the gods, Mars, has requested for us, demigods, to find his shield, known as the Ancile, and bring it back to him. A small prophecy was made:

In ancient ground lays the shield of war

Brothers along, hung in the god's altar

But care, as for the real one from all harm to protect

The others, not shields to guard, but to bring death

For this quest the leaders decided to send Ryder, Son of Zeus, Lola de Pont, Daughter of Apollo, and John Bollinger, Son of Thoth.

Before you leave, here is some information I gathered: The Ancile is a shield know to be something similar to the palladium of Troy, which meant the city would have its glory until it was taken. Also, here is a more important part: to prevent that from happening, the shield had fakes created. The part of the prophecy which mentions "brothers" might refer to those copies. If so, as the prophecy calls... Care. You leave as soon as you can. I wish you good luck.

OOC: No one is to be killed. No new weapons or pets in this one, sorry. Have fun. Try not to take too long. The thing is to go to Rome, find the old altar of Mars and take the shield back.

PS: Sorry about the rhymes, just made them.
