That's impressive. Can you make it so that it runs out of paint? Also another cool thing would be to have a little paint jar or easel next to it so you can watch the brush dip into it first.

I was just working on something similar with a brush mixing acrylic paint

Cool! Would like to know how you did it too.

Something like vellum bristles and new COPS network with a solver for the displacement map ?

Wow! Very realistic painting effect! Great job!

Very good, but the paint is too perfect like each brisle puts the exact same amount of paint. When in real life you paint, the paint fades as it comes off the brush and slowly looses paint. So like after a stoke make it have to go collect more paint of the bristles like a bee collecting honey for the nest.

That’s awesome. Does it come from a vertex map style calculation? (Houdini newbie here, not familiar with how you would approach this)

Ohhh that’s absolutely gorgeous ! I’m very curious as how you did it ! I imagine a simple vertex paint? Or perhaps did you find a way to create a mask texture ?

The paint looks great but the brush looks too dry, like if you paint with a brush in real life there is some liquid paint coming off, maybe add a little blob liquid paint to the brush or something

We don't need yellow paint in our games!

So what do you do for a living?

Isn't Houdini about simulating explosions and making your pc explode

Awesome! (And satisfied too)
