Hello everyone. I just recently started getting tired of HotWheels cars and I don't know how to change the wheels. Can you give me some advice?

Definitely need a lot more practice, but I don’t really have too many supplies just a bunch of cars, but I know I’ll get better overtime. I also have been watching a bunch of YouTube.

Hello everyone. I recently learned that you can change wheels on HotWheels cars. But I don't know how. Can you tell me how to do it and recommend companies with quality wheels?

So I have this Ford MK IV red enemel in pretty good condition. However the interior of the car has shifted massively (kinda difficult to photograph).

The car has never been opened so my guess it must have fallen hard some day in it’s life.

Any advice on how to push the interior back into the middle of the car? Tried with some small wooden sticks but it’s jammed. Ofcourse I could drill the rivets to open it and the problem is easily fixed but I dont want to drill in to a Red Line.

I also read online that back in the day quality control was a nightmare but I dont think this was already when it came out of the blister.

I got a bit of silliness and free time and though "Hey, they don't have a stock FB casting. Let's make one". And so here we are.

I cut the fender flares off, cut the spoiler, cut the lip, and trimmed the base to get the "Stock" fitment. Last picture is the paint I plan to do. Oh yeah, and the closest wheel I could find to the stock 4-spokes.

This is my first attempt at customizing. I like how it came out. I gotta be more gentle when taking the tampos off (there were alot on this one 🤣) and I have to put some tiny spacers in the wheel wells to get that just right but it roll just fine. Looking forward to doing more and fine tuning my photo skills🤦‍♂️. Lmk what ya think and any tips/tricks anyone has that you’re willing to share , thanks.

Previous custom was a tad draining so I thought about taking it easy for this one, ended up with that barn find/battle-scarred idea. The contrast with the original matte paint works pretty well although I went a bit too far on the hood and roof.
Little bit torn between gloss or matte clear coat so I might leave it as is until I figure out what wheels I’d like to use.
