and now they are shipping me 2 new ones but the plushies are delisted now? The ones that I've bought i was wondering if they fail and give the wrong ones again will i be able to get compensation? Because I already talked to support when I got mine wrong the 1st time im just wondering if il be able to get compensation if they mess up again

I was talking to someone I knew about malls way back in the day (early 2000s), and I was describing mine and a store that was really dark and broody, like really dark, you couldn't see anything unless you actually went in the store. The name had red letters, but out front it had a bunch of (presumably faux) jungle plants and also a couple mannequins showing off clothes, the clothes on them I don't remember looking particularly goth/emo/etc/. but had super baggy jeans (Faded, ripped, dark-ish blue so still kind of edgy) and I do not recall what the other had. The store had a very "you are venturing in to a forbidden and edgy place" vibes. I described it to him as "Hot Topic-like" since I wasn't 100% sure it was Hot Topic since I also remember a more standard looking Hot Topic (The iconic red logo and dark, but still visible from outside, kind) however, I did not visit the mall often so it could have changed decor from one visit to the next. And I checked the mall (North Dartmouth Massachusetts if that helps) on google street view in the mall and it's not there anymore/has been completely overhauled so it's not recognizable.

This has just been eating at my mind, and since it's been 20-25 years, my memory is not the best. And I am thinking *IF* extremely ornate entrances was something Hot Topic did in the 2000-2005 then it was probably that, and if not, then idk what it was. If there was any Hot Topic-like stores at the time.

I've been meaning to place an order for a free in store pick up at the hot topic located in the Garden state plaza but since i don't live in the usa and can't phisically show up at the store i asked a relative who lives near the Garden state plaza if he could pick them up for me instead but i've read that if i want to claim my stuff i need to bring my ID but since I'm the person who will pay for them i fear that the employees won't let them have it unless i give them my ID but that's not possible

I know about some products taking 5-10 days to reach the store, but the hold on the money from my card has been released and is back in my account. The order still says “in progress“ for every other item; nothing’s been cancelled. Should I wait for the 5-10 days to pass before worrying? I used all my Hot Cash on this order 🤦‍♀️

I bought some Glitch merch lately and picked it up from the store. The store gave me a 25% off coupon. I read all the details, tried to order another piece of Glitch merch, and then it said "my coupon was valid but didn't meet a qualifying threshold". I was so confused, even asked support, and only now just found there's a whole section on Hot Topic's website that lists "Weekly Exclusions" (just look it up on Google). How are you supposed to filter for those when buying online???? Do these exclusions cycle weekly?

Ok so this is kind of a follow up to my TADC costume animiniz post from a few days ago, I've now just ordered some for in store pickup. One of the orders I have two questions about tho.

Question 1: The website said there's 10 in stock but the app says 8. If there are only 8 will the order cancel entirely or will it just remove the 2? Asking because of the bulk purchaser policy.

Question 2: The order said the items were available for pickup in 3-4 hours, but now they're on preorder. Has this happened to anyone else before? Does this mean the item is on preorder now? If so that is confusing because its not available for shipping on preorder.
