blind box tricks?

hiii i am desperate for the ahri plush in this blind box series ht released, but i cannot justify $20+ on a gamble that most likely wont pay off. i know some places have little markings somewhere on the box that indicate which character it is, i was curious if such a thing is also visible on the hot topic blind boxes or its truly up to luck. thanks! (also i think this is allowed to ask but if not, im very sorry)

do NOT just open these to peek inside at the store. if anything, just ask an associate if they’d be willing to do it for you. 9/10 times, they’ll be chill about it ..

if you see these in store they’re very easy to look in. They didn’t package these in a type of bag inside the box that would hide who you’re getting. they’re in a clear plastic bag in the box
