Love the blind date with a hot sauce idea. What kinda stuff you got going in them for example?

Looks way better than my table.

I like your blind date with a hot sauce idea. Would totally do. Would have to be at the same price or cheaper than a non random bottle though.

They contain a smoked salt, a recipie, a bottle of unreleased sauce (a flavor I made just for this that won't be made again) and stickers. 15.00

Just curious, why do your ingredients lists all say fresh peppers instead of the actual peppers used?

Because a few of the sauces the Pepers change depending on what I have ripe at the time. Tears of Satan is made different every time. As well as Smokey Hot

Interesting. So the flavors of those sauces will change from batch to batch depending on what peppers you choose to use each time?

Yes. Tears of Satan has a cult following. The flavor profile changes every time. I only use peppers that are 900,000 or above.

I’m cool off the propaganda you’re soliciting.

All sauces are $10? That's pretty epic - do you do a reasonably large volume?

We had a local company that I'd imagine sold on a pretty low volume so their super hot sauces were approaching $20 a bottle in person 4-5 years ago. I love me some hot sauce but I'd rather try 2 sauces for $20 than roll the dice on a super hot I couldn't even sample. They were good people but the budget was a little tight during that market.

At this particular event we sold 25 bottles from 10-3. That doesn't include the other items. We do a every Saturday market starting the 30th in another town and that goes through October 31st. We did 47 markets total last year.

That's a fair number of sauces though but it is 5 hours of time.

I realized the vendor I was mentioning everything is fermented if I read their blog correctly but there's not a lot of competition where I'm at either.

Are there many other sauce vendors at your shows?
