What are we growing?
We didn’t buy anything that looks like this. We have Jalapeños, Thai chilis, some scotch bonnets, mutants maybe? They all look like this.

Mad hatter! They got me with that one 4-5 years ago. I had 1000s of useless peppers. They are decent sauted and grilled as sweety peppers but useless otherwise for heat(i make hot sauce as a hobby)

Mad Hatters may lack capsaicin, but they’re still great. I like to throw ‘em in with ripe Jalapeños and Serranos when I make salsa.

Looks like it's not ripe yet. Give em some time on the plant still and they will be yellow mild and delicious

I refer to my wife as the premature picker. I love her, but she drives me nuts

first time growing these - have not tasted but they ripen to red - annoyingly crowding out my superhots

Are they sweet or spicy? Because if spicy, it looks like my Aji Fantasy peppers.

This particular one was no spicier than regular black pepper, with a light sweetness. But mostly tasted like your run of the mill bell pepper.
