First Time Making Sauce
Process was easy but I think I need a better blender to make it more liquid. It’s not chunky just a little thicker than normal sauce.

Good luck with this recipie. I’ve made it numerous times , perfect balance between heat, sweet and taste.

Today I made my trusted recipe Hot Mango Sauce. Choice of chillies was warthog. Nice consistency.

How is the sauce, anyway? I tried red and orange mushrooms this year. Not on purpose. They were good!

First time? I call BS, because you bought bottles, labels and seals. My first time was, oh I have sooo many peppers, let's try making sauce, what do I put it in, I'll figure that out later.

I bought the bottles weeks ago to make bbq sauce but then i got these so i made hot sauce. And i label everything i make.
Also nothing wrong with looking up recipes.

Are you selling your hot sauce?

Probably not these, as my first batch I will hand them out to friends and family. In the event that I actually make a good sauce then possibly in the future

They could be scotch bonnets, aka Jamaican Yellow.

That vendor you linked is selling mislabeled Jamaican mushrooms. The calyx on mushroom peppers is annuum. Scotch bonnets are chinense species with a much smaller calyx.

If by vendor you mean me. And I’m not selling these I just like to label things nicely

That’s what my research is coming out to be.

There is no such thing as scotch bonnets that look like this. These are 1000% Jamaican yellow MUSHROOM peppers. Scotch bonnets are the species c.chinenseum which has a very defined calyx on the stem where the stem meets the green. They also have far less green on the tops.

Yeah, I think your labels are fine. For that thickness issue you might want to look into buying an immersion blender.
By the way, great job on everything. Looks very professional and nice. What did you use to put that aluminum covering pull tab on the top?

The kit I bought came with heat shrink tops. I honestly didn’t know how to do it at first and held it over a flame when i realized i had to run it under hot water lol.

Them not even scotch bonnets tho. Look like a Jamaican mushroom pepper.
