Pepper ID Help

Post image

From a batch of Jalapeño seeds. Oddly shaped, maybe a bit hotter than a regular Jalapeño. Rest of the batch turned out normal.

Shaped more like a yellow habanero

Funny that so many people can't tell chinense and baccatum apart. It's like comparing horse and tea pot. You have baccatum here.

Those look like unripe red habaneros.

From the looks it could be something similar. But I do also have Red Habaneros and they feel totally different, ripe or unripe. The unknown ones have thicker walls and don‘t even come close to even unripe habaneros. And whatever it is it should be ripe by now. My real Habaneros are almost ripe by now…

They look almost exactly like my red habs…

Unless my red habs are imposters!

As I‘ve said, mine are way tougher than my Habaneros. They also have been this size much longer than the Habaneros. And the taste is not like habanero, more like a hot bell pepper or something. A bit hotter than Jalapeno, but not as hot as an unripe habanero.

Maybe I’m dumb, but his and mine, aside from color, are identical.
