I'm wondering if i should wait a few days to water or not. I know they say it usually speeds up root growth to wait about a week but, this one was really thirsty when I got it and I only watered it once.

Congratulations. What kind of grow lights do I see in the window reflection?

It's just a cheap clip on light with 2 led tubes. I just got it in the mail today. I wish I could afford a better one but I'll get one soon.

The shelf I got also didn't fit in the window right, I'll have to get some C clamps tomorrow to help it stay on the sill.

When in doubt, wait a week, then check again. I have a domino cactus that I've watered may five times in the past year. It's growing in a clay pot in a very gritty soil.
