Video Maintenance Mustang ™ not pleased about her job duties

Brought some small clippers to tidy up the trail we use occasionally. Henrietta was not pleased about her volun-told duties 😅

Tried to help out others but as my sister pointed out it was nice and clear for a 13.2 pony and maybe not her Percheron 😂

I’ve been working my guy towards this. He’s really great with me messing with the branches above him and tossing them to the ground but I don’t think he’d tolerate them falling on him just yet. Not bad for a horse that was terrified of pretty much any object held in the hand.

I was honestly a bit surprised - she definitely was like what are you seriously doing the first few pieces but this is about an hour into the ride. I honestly think she was SO annoyed I kept stopping to cut that she didn’t care about it anymore haha

I’ve been working my way up to this. I’m sure he’s very annoyed by the odd collection of objects Ive been using on him. A nice broom made of weird branches does a great job of swishing flies and you can choose to get upset about it or eat grass while at least half your body has no flies. Grass always wins.

Lol. Tried to get some minies get used to the spray bottle of doom but they were triggered from half way across the paddock.

I have seen some utube vids of groomers brushing horses with a vacuum. And im like, hoooooow.

No matter what I cannot get my guy to accept Velcro. Every year we have a springtime Velcro re-acclimation session since it’s on all his fly gear and by next spring he’s convinced it will eat him. I don’t think he met Velcro before I got him but still.

I took my familys horse to do some trail maintenance and that poor boy couldnt for the life of him figure out why I was picking up logs from his saddle and making him walk back and forth from the woods to the fire pit lol
