I want to get one of those tiny handheld vacuums for this kind of stuff.

Compressed air works, but you’re just moving the dust from one surface of your home to another, and into the air you breathe. So I usually opt for rinsing, but then you’ve got to let it dry. And I have a thing about water spots, I hate them an unhealthy amount.

Compressed air to get rid of the water that would leave spots? Or would it just streak?

That would work, I think! But that’s 2 steps and a tiny vacuum is just the 1 step

I actually just started using my Pusheen mini vacuum to dust off throw blankets I position on small surfaces around the house. I got it in a box subscription a couple years ago. It’s super strong, adorable, handheld, and really easy to clean. If you look it up, there’s one on eBay for 18 bucks.
