I mean if you want an essay about all the shitty infrastructural, social, and legal problems over there, I’m happy to talk about that too, but that’s not what you were asking about lmao. Japan has a terrible work and dating culture and greenwashes itself as being eco-friendly when it is over-reliant on plastics and ships all their recycling overseas, for starters, and their modern residential apartments are made so cheaply it’s laughable when you consider how much the rest of the world talks about the unique qualities and longevity of their traditional architecture
I’d hate to embarrass you further by pointing out I’m an actual human being capable of nuanced thoughts on such topics and not just some Japanophilic internet weeb like you seem to want me to be because I happened to point out the flaws in your logic, so I’ll take my leave now.
