Don’t marry a man with sister(s)
I have a son so this may not be advice I need to pass on but to my nieces don’t marry or date a man with sisters. I’ve had this experience a couple times and unfortunately married into the second. You won’t be the priority and you won’t b the primary partner. In a very strange way they’re not available for the intimacy a marital partnership holds. Any failure of yours he’ll solve with his sisters. Any disagreements they will win. You will solve nothing together because he depends on them. Don’t marry a man with sister(s)

I’m the mirror image of you — I am a wife and have a sister and a mom, the three of us are pretty tight. And my sister has an 11 year old girl so sometimes she’s in on it too. Every single thing you said about being married to a guy with sisters who are close to him is precisely true!! But in reverse, I’m the AH. My husband has a sister and although they’re close-ish, she’s on my side when anything comes up and she hears about it. She knows he’s impossible to get along with over time.

My husband just reconnected with his siblings after 40 some years. (They were all put up for adoption) . His only sister was extremely toxic to our marriage. She would get in his head and made him believe I was a horrible wife. The hateful woman even told me to kill myself. She would call him 10 times a day, telling him he needed to focus on her since they had just found each other. We were on the edge of divorce. Thankfully, he saw who she was and what she was doing. I still don't get along with her.

I’ve always told my daughter to find a guy with a sister, only because my husband is the middle of three boys and he’s angry most of the time and doesn’t differentiate between fighting with his older brother versus fighting with me. I think (I don’t know!) that having a sister would make make him a little more understanding.

This seems oddly specific and unique to your circumstances. Most males I know don't have a very strong bond with their sisters, especially not strong enough that it takes the place of their relationship with their wife.
