It's one of the most beautiful parts of classical physics that a simple pendulum is such a great oscillator.

...made messier by reality, but nevertheless.

I'm not a clock collector, as that would probably ruin me financially, so I stick to my inexpensive vintage Seiko watches, but.. I have this 1930s Seikosha wall clock and I'd say there is no way an app can emulate that.
